AVEK Laboratory

The Agency laboratory is located in the administration building at 6500 West Avenue N, Palmdale, CA. The laboratory is certified by the California Department of Health Services Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP #1460) for the analysis of drinking water and wastewater. We are approved to perform in the fields of testing: microbiology, inorganic chemistry and physical properties and organic chemistry.

The AVEK laboratory offers water quality testing to the public and water purveyors for physical properties, conductivity and microbiological contamination. The types of tests offered are listed in the table below. The laboratory provides quality controlled sample bottles, sampling instructions, and a mailed written report of results. A fee is charged for these tests. The sample bottles may be picked up at the laboratory Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
