PLANT OPERATOR

Operators are responsible for Plant and Water Bank facility operation and maintenance. This includes maintaining pond structures and distribution lines. Preventative maintenance, mechanical repairs and water quality assessment are daily job functions. Night, weekend and ‘on call’ shifts may be required. High School diploma or GED is required as well as a valid California driver’s license. Condition of employment is possession of a State Water Resource Control Board T-2 and D-1 license or the ability to attain these within two years of hire date. 

Compensation Range: $30 - $38/hr

ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

Maintain, install, trouble-shoot and repair all electrical, instrumentation and test equipment at water treatment plants, water banks, pump stations, remote stations, chemical feed stations and administrative offices. Night, weekend and ‘on call’ shifts may be required. Must have either two year’s of technical training in electronic equipment installation and maintenance or four years performing industrial/commercial electronic instrument and control system repair and maintenance. High School diploma or GED is required as well as a valid California driver’s license.                                       

Compensation Range: $37 - $47/hr
