NOTICE TO AVEK CUSTOMERS 

RE:     AGENCY PROPOSED UPDATE TO WATER SERVICE AGREEMENT AND RULES & REGUlATIONS FOR WATER SERVICE

The Antelope Valley-East Kern Water Agency (AVEK) is inviting its Customers to comment on the proposed Draft Water Service Agreement (WSA) and Rules & Regulations for Water Service (Rules & Regulations).

The Agency  must comply with current Water User Guidelines & Best Management Practices (BMP’s) as defined by the State of California Department of Public Health for drinking water for residents, irrigation for farms or ranches, and landscaping.

The simplified WSA Agreement and accompanying Rules & Regulations include the terms & conditions for AVEK water service. The proposed Rules & Regulations contain requirements for installation of new or modified meter service facilities.

All comments should be submitted to the Agency no later than September 4th, 2020, at 5:00 P.M. to be considered for the Final Draft of the WSA Agreement and Rules & Regulations.
