From Carpentry to Water His Career Path Progresses
Lake Los Angeles resident Paul Hickman believes he found his niche when he joined the staff at AVEK on Jan. 11 as a maintenance technician.
Paul set his sights on AVEK to fulfill a personal need for career growth. “I applied with AVEK because I was looking for a new challenge.” He wanted more knowledge about water treatment and distribution. Before joining AVEK he learned about carpentry. At AVEK, he will repair and maintain service equipment.
His parents, Thomas and Maria Hickman also live in the Antelope Valley.
For recreation, Paul works out, hikes and rides his 2016 Triumph Street Twin (motorcycle). He helps his neighbors and participates in The Essential Daily Carry
“I enjoy working out, hiking, riding my 2016 Triumph Street Twin (motorcycle), spending time with my family, helping out my fellow neighbors, and exploring and interacting with people in the Essential Daily Carry Community.”
